You can do whatever you set your mind to do

So I hopped on the elliptical...the one I very much so hate. I had to stop every few minutes to rest a few seconds. My quads were burning. I wanted to stop. But I kept going. Forty minutes, 100 calories, and 2 miles later, I got off. I think I could've done more if I had something interesting to watch on tv and if it weren't so late. I think I just might take up my husband's challenge and watch "I am Legend" and stay on the elliptical the whole time.

Isn't it funny what you can do when you set your mind to do it?

Dude, I bought an elliptical a couple months ago, too, and we're still in the process of making friends. The only reason we're somewhat chummy at this point is because it has totally eliminated any notion of me returning to a gym, and for that, it has a special place in my heart.
